Dave Rose is the Senior Managing Partner at Tator, Rose & Leong, Chartered Accountants. He began his accounting career at Tator, Rose & Leong after graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto in 1984. He received his Chartered Accountant (C.A.) designation in 1990, and in 2012 became a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).
Dave’s extensive knowledge as a CPA includes personal and corporate income tax, and auditing for not-for-profit organizations. His expertise in auditing for condominium corporations has resulted in teaching courses for the Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario (ACMO).
Dave works with owner-managers of corporations, not-for-profit organizations, condominium corporations, trusts, medical professional corporations, personal income tax preparation, estate planning, investment holding companies and real estate companies. He ensures these clients are current in all tax filing matters and implementing tax strategies to minimize their tax obligations.
Dave and his team at Tator Rose & Leong are always seeking opportunities to share their knowledge and experience with both businesses and individuals. For over 30 years, Dave has volunteered to prepare personal income tax returns for low-income individuals as part of a program sponsored by the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants. Both Dave and his wife Lynn have a strong commitment to their community. Proud supporters of various charities – including the Hospital for Sick Children and the War Amps of Canada – they also volunteer with the annual Brampton Santa Claus Parade.

Edmund has built his experience around the development and growth of the audit practice specializing in the areas of condominium corporations, private career colleges, not for profit organizations as well as for profit entities that require regulatory compliance. He also lends his talents to the practice for both corporate and personal tax planning tied to strategic business development guidance.
Edmund has been with the firm prior to graduating from University of Toronto in 1991, Bachelor of Commerce. He obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1994 and became a partner of the firm in 2001. He acts as a senior assurance and business development partner at the firm. Additional roles include human resources development, firm branding as well as acting as firm monitor internally and as well for third party firms.
In keeping with the standards of some of our major clientele and to service community, he has maintained association memberships with Canadian Condominium Institute (CCI), Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario (ACMO) and Career Colleges Ontario (CCO). Edmund is currently servicing these associations by providing lectures on behalf of ACMO and CCI on various matters relating to financial management for condominium property managers as well as financial matters relating to reserve funds. Edmund has further contributed to the condominium industry by having his articles published in CCI’s quarterly magazine CondoVoice.
With respect to private career colleges, Edmund has consulted with senior policy advisors with the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities on audit matters and standards relating to Key Performance Indicators. He also has given lectures to CCO members on industry best practices in relation to audit, operational efficiencies as well as upcoming regulatory standards.

Joanne attended the University of Toronto and graduated with high distinction in the commerce program. Immediately after graduation, she began articling with KPMG LLP and obtained her Chartered Accountant designation.
Joanne’s tenure with the international tax group at KPMG LLP provided her with extensive experience in addressing cross-border tax issues for both individuals and businesses. She brings to the firm depth of knowledge in U.S. taxation and has been developing and expanding the U.S. tax services sector for the firm. Joanne has expertise in addressing various tax issues for U.S. citizens living in Canada. Joanne is also specialized in tax planning for individuals, various professional corporations, and owner-manager companies.
In addition, Joanne is skilled in auditing non-for-profit organizations and performing audits and quarterly reviews for a client base specializing in the industrial and manufacturing sectors.
In her spare time, Joanne enjoys spending time with her family. Joanne is also involved in a few local community organizations for which she provides financial advice and other assistance.

Calvin attended the University of Toronto and obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with distinction in 2007.
Immediately after graduation, Calvin began his accounting career as a staff accountant here at Tator, Rose & Leong. In 2010, Calvin obtained his CA designation and became a partner with the firm in 2011.
Calvin brings to the firm a depth of knowledge in accounting, assurance and taxation matters for small private enterprise and not-for-profit enterprises. Calvin is specialized in servicing investment holding companies, providing review engagements for expanding businesses, consulting accounting software for newly established ventures and providing continuous support to our clients. Calvin’s goal is to provide accounting solutions that fit your needs and to increase efficiency.
In addition, Calvin is also experienced in providing church audits, performing a peer review for third party firms and keeping internal staff up-to-date with various accounting and audit updates.
Calvin loves to swim, play basketball and badminton, and socialize with his friends. Calvin also volunteers at his church by providing creative ideas, financial advice and general volunteer efforts.
Glenn has over 20 years of experience working in public practice. His client base includes small-medium sized owner-manager companies, professional corporations, industrial, film & theatre, and non-profit organizations (NPOs). Glenn’s tenure in public practice has provided him with a wide array of expertise which includes tax, audit, payroll and HST matters. In his many years of experience, Glenn has developed unparalleled expertise in setting up Professional Corporations and providing creative tax planning strategies for owner-manager companies.
Glenn’s specialty in addressing cross-border issues has been making a significant contribution in developing the U.S. tax services sector for the firm. Many of our clients have benefitted from Glenn’s extensive experience in addressing cross-border issue and expertise in filing personal U.S. tax and information returns under the streamlined program. His talent in estate planning has also help minimize or eliminate our clients’ exposures to the U.S. estate tax.
In addition, Glenn is specialized in preparing complicated Canadian personal and corporate tax returns, his attention to details and creative tax strategies have resulted in substantial tax savings for our clients.
Glenn provides specialized service in auditing NPOs and he is familiar with regulatory legislation including the Day Nurseries Act, Regulated Health Professional Act and the Ontario NPO Act.
